The bathroom by Philippe Starck, Edition 1. - The Poetry of Reduction

A simple washing bowl served as an inspiration for the washbasin which rests on a white ceramic top. it is borne by a solid wood console, unadorned and serene like a ancient table. This version is also available as a handrinse model. Glazed all over, the vanity washbasin invites you to create your individual wash place.
The 33 1/2” high washbasin vanity unit made from real wood, has a black melamine interior and a glas shelf with chrome rail. The 35 1/2” washbasin with pedestal: shown here without integrated towel holders. The 22 1/2” washbasin creates the impression of floating on the siphon cover. Another alternative: the 35 1/2” or 29 1/2” washbasin. Their ingenuous finishing touch: towel rails that can be integrated into pedestal or siphon cover. Conveniently positioned where you need a towel most.

Starck 1. New look for a classic design. While the complete Starck 1 bathroom range boasts many design classics, there is one item within the collection that really stands out – the Starck 1 barrel-shaped vanity unit, which can rightfully claim its position as Duravit’s most successful individual furniture item. This was reason enough to introduce two new versions of this bestseller – in new eye-catching black and white high-gloss finishes. Chic, iconic and timelessly modern, the Starck “barrel” is sure to remain a classic.

The inside of the barrel, which is finished in a black melamine coating, features a glass shelf with chrome rail that can be used for storage of towels and toiletries. In addition to the two new high-gloss finishes in black (40) and white (85), the Starck “barrel” is also available in real wood American Walnut (13), Pearwood (96) and Macassar (24).
