The so-called retail apocalypse, which has seen the closure of physical retail spaces across the globe – from long-established chains to boutique brands – shows no sign of abating. The culprits? Changing consumer habits (driven, of course, by online shopping), combined with unsustainable rental and tax burdens.

Pop-up retail ventures are increasingly seizing the opportunity to take up temporary residence in newly vacated spaces, bringing with them a more brand-driven, emotional kind of retail experience.
