Bitta
Chairs from Riva 1920, Designed by Anders Grandell, Omri Revesz, Elena Soloni
Product description
An urban seat inspired by the traditional bitts located along the lagoon of Venice: the possibility to transform a movement into stasis.
The structure is made of two principal parts: a portion of worn-out Bricola, shaped to create the seat, and a steel base that appears in three different heights. The diagonal engraving of the bricola, from the outer crust to its intact heart, emphasizes the consumption gradation of the wood, and testifies its particular origins.
Bitta is a meeting point, a stopover, a dockage.
Wood: Briccola
L. 35,5 - P. 47,5 - H. 52
