The glassblower applies a wrap over a gather of glass and then pulls the undulating pattern. A contrasting rim is created with a separate bead of glass. Silver leaf is then applied to create iridescence. Also available in an ivory color. Mouth-blown in Murano, Italy. No two shades are exactly alike. There will always be variations, which are typical of a handmade product and contribute to its beauty.
