Featuring Wall | Connemara

Natural stone panels from Gani Marble Tiles

Product description

Connemara is a famous region in the west of Ireland. Connemara Marble is a rare form of marble found in the region which is typically green-ish in colour. It is said to be one of the rarest forms of marble in the world due to its limited supply and dates back over 600 million years. While the colour is predominately green there are often shades of white and brown seen throughout. The bands or lines of contrasting color running throughout the stone contribute to its unique characteristics. Owing to its unique feature, this variety is used to build surfaces where this feature can be used dramatically, such as fireplace surrounds, small islands, walls and bar tops, an ideal choice for kitchen and bathrooms installations, vanity countertops.

Concept

We call a featuring wall those marble application in which the marble is the only decorative element, and it is used in its pure form. Every marble has its own beauty, can be about their colors, about the veins, or even just the purity of the pattern. A classical application as featuring wall of marbles, is the book-match layout, which allow to mirror the marbles pattern itself, often in both directions, vertically and horizontally.
