Corner layout with suspended base units in shiny thermal plastic and wall units with glass doors, all in the sliding version. LED lighting on shelves and lower sliding rails on the base and wall units. The Spatia living/kitchen service island is a central multi-functional element. The table top, shown in the white Solid Core version, rests on storage units and on a leg in stainless steel finish aluminium. To the right of the composition, the sliding doors hide a space for electrical appliances. A high-performance suspension plate system allows the use of Spatia suspended base units, available in depths of up to 70 cm, even with marble worktops.
With Spatia, the kitchen is increasingly the centre of the home. A project for creating kitchens large or small, that increases space in small and studio apartments and enables cooking, washing, ironing and storage functions to be hidden when not needed. Spatia, designed by Antonio Citterio in 2010, takes on board the evolving needs of the kitchen zone and brings a new angle to interiors, pushing living horizons to conceal its functions.
