The 2017 versions of the Type 1228™ desk light, wall mounted light and floor light combine Sir Kenneth Grange’s original - and much-loved design - with some highly refined updates, including a more streamlined base, an ergonomic switch system and an elegantly pared down colour palette. Now more sophisticated than ever before, these new Type1228™ products are durable and versatile enough for use in any interior.

The shade on the Type 1228™ desk lamp has always rotated to provide both functional and ambient light and now it boasts an even more smoothly integrated switch too, making it easier to use. Designed to clamp to any horizontal surface of between 6 and 50mm thick, the Type Range clamp is now scaled down and colour-matched to its corresponding products, and is more compact, convenient and versatile than ever before.
