Technological innovation and research on materials: Snaidero introduces carbon fibre in the kitchen

Creativity and innovation, emotion and functional rigour: In its twenty-year history, Ola 20 by Snaidero has blended the most advanced scientific and engineering research aspects with the aesthetic dimension of a product, the kitchen, that is an essential component of daily life.
Alongside the exclusive micalized lacquering technology for surfaces, Snaidero adds another important feature stemming from its materials research activity, namely the introduction of CARBON FIBRE in the kitchen. This material is used by Snaidero for lining the Ola20 project's unmistakable island and peninsula support, which is stratified and shaped by hand to add a sculpture-like effect to the kitchen.
CARBON FIBRE is a new generation composite material consisting of a stringy structure (fabric) coupled with a carbon matrix. This solution endows the island and peninsula support with a high degree of mechanical resistance, in addition to excellent resistance to temperature variations and chemical aggression.
This material is both innovative and extremely evolved, as it does not oxidise or rust and is non-toxic, resistant to water and extremely sturdy. The manufacturing system of the Ola20 carbon fibre support constitutes the ULTIMATE TECHNOLOGICAL ACHIEVEMENT, DERIVING DIRECTLY FROM AEROSPACE APPLICATIONS, and it strikes an unparalleled balance between lightness and mechanical resistance, combined with excellent aesthetic refinement.
