Functional updating with LED technology of the street lamp of the Historic Centre of Le Havre, reconstructed by Auguste Perret following the Second World War and declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 2005.

The technical development and the editing of the new “Le Havre” street lamp were carried out by Santa & Cole starting from a project by the Atelier Hervé Audibert and Ateliers Lion Associés, respecting the characteristics of the original street lamp. The Le Havre street lamp consists of a single 4, 6 or 8m shaft which integrates the basic light, accent light and contemplative light, always using LED technology lamps. The intensity of the light can be independently adjustable, projected with warm light (3000º K) and especially designed to accompany pedestrians without dazzling.

On developing the “Le Havre” street lamp, Santa & Cole applied its experience in the sphere of urban elements and lighting, contributing through this project to embellishing and enhancing the historic city centre.
