House on the Park is a multi-family residence designed and built to state-of-the-art construction standards with the goal of meeting the highest levels of design and technical quality attainable today.

Lighting
Rada Markovic Lighting Design Studio, Architectural Lighting Designer Special attention was given the lighting engineering. The equipment utilized involves primarily high-quality LED fixtures that combine quality lighting, energy savings, safety, long-life and easy maintenance. As an initial step, the edifice received the approval of the Commission for Architectural and Landscape Heritage for the provinces of Parma and Piacenza. The building has three sections of varying height and size set within the structure containing the vertical connections.
#1 – Total LED power: 185W of the façade with various illumination modes (Evening, Utility, Night and Day Passage) to optimize lighting system power consumption.

For the atrium entrance, a very small (3W 20° 3000K LED and 3W 40° 3000K LED) light source was used to illuminate the main columns: a 3W in-ground mini spot with ±15° orientation for glare-free scenographic lighting.
#2 – Total LED power: 56W

The internal stairways extend upwards, providing a vertical visual opening to the ceiling of the top attic floor that creates a continuous line of light connecting all the floors. The lighting is diffused and indirect, with 14W/meter and 4W/meter 3000K LED strips on each edge. They are extremely thin, flexible, powerful and easily adaptable to the surface, while also being eco-sustainable. Rada Markovic Lighting Design Studio developed this scenographic effect to create not only visual contrast, but also a dynamic interaction between the light during the day and night, together with the emergency lighting, all of which is controlled interactively by motion sensors. DIAlux calculation for internal stairway lighting.

Total length of LED strips: 135 meters / #3 – Total LED power: 1215W / C.T. (K): 3000K
DIAlux calculation for internal parking, garages, public access area and basement.
Covered passageway – Total 570W / Garages – at least 15 accesses/day are planned, with 5 minutes of illumination for each (365*15*5/60 = 465hrs/year).

Common area – Total 171W / Basement – at least 5 accesses/day are planned, with 5 minutes of illumination.
For each (365*5*5/60 = 152hrs/year).

#4 – Total LED power: 741W
For the loggias outside each apartment, in-ground light sources were used (2W 3000K LEDs) and for the outside flower boxes a scenographic effect has been created using a combination of 2W 3000K LEDs and 3W 3000K LEDs. There is a mini 2W LED ground projector with support rod that can be affixed using one or two screws.

#5 - Total LED power: 299W
Various illumination modes: Evening (from dusk to midnight), Utility (from midnight to dawn), Night passage (all lights at 50%, the other 50% remain lit for security) and Day passage (during especially dark winter days when the Dali sensor detects a low level of light and activates and dims the various strips to attain the pre-set lighting intensity as a way of optimizing electrical consumption of the pre-defined lighting system.

Promoter of the initiative / client / executive company: Montanari Costruzioni Srl, Fidenza (Parma).
