Splinter-free outdoor flooring for primary school

The Michael Grzimek School is a primary school with around 300 pupils. The planning of the building extension was made by the architecture firm Hein-Troy.

An elongated two-storey building can accommodate 15 classrooms, two rooms for breakfast and lunch service, a gym, a music room, a crafts room and a cafeteria. The heart of the building consists of two atriums with plants, which allow for exposure to light on both sides of the classrooms and are of course accessible for the children.

Since the break with sufficient space to walk and play is especially important for children of primary school age, several spacious terraces were established. These were made from the MYDECK premium WPC deck boards. The timeless boards have the advantage that they do not splinter, split or crack and thus are ideal for use by kids playing around.
