It's been accomplished! The renovation of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce headquarters in Reutlingen was successfully completed at the end of 2019. The previous building, constructed in the early 1970s, had become very outdated. The decision in favour of the new construction was made in April 2017 by the plenary assembly. A resolution that would open the door to Interstuhl for a very special project. The project was planned together with local specialty retailer Betz who conveyed it would be very important to satisfy their customer’s desire for flexible workplace scenarios and modern spaces. The entire project comprised the furnishing of four floors for around 180 employees. The newly created rooms are characterised by clear zones, a wide variety of different scenarios for work, communication and relaxation as well as many options to make flexible use of the space. Each of the floors has its own concept for usage, colours and materials, which was created in close collaboration between the property developer, the architects, and Interstuhl's in-house Interior Design and Planning team.
Optimal planning helped contribute to a diverse yet simultaneously harmonious work environment by using a wide variety of Interstuhl products. In the future, Interstuhl solutions HUB, VINTAGEIS5, LEMONIS5, LIMEIS5, VLEGSIS3, JOYCEIS3, UPIS1 and others will support employees to be flexible and organised during their work day. With this project, Interstuhl has made New Work "workable" for the first time.
