A dressing table, a writing desk, a mirror, a coat stand, and a stool. The products of the Opalina collection stand out for their joints, rounded volumes, and the muted, matte colours of the glass. For Cristina Celestino the Opalina project is not just formal and aesthetic research but cultural too. With this collection, Celestino brings the word “opaline”, which has always been associated with small elements, to a whole new level, that of glass furniture. The furnishes of the Opalina collection are designed to be customised. For example, the dressing table drawers and the stool can be covered in leather and a rectangular mirror can be added to the writing desk.
