Free-standing lights from Stilnovo, Designed by Joe Colombo

Product description

The Triedro floor lamp is reminiscent of lighting from a photo shoot. Thanks to the contoured and bent metal lampshade, comprised of three parts, the light from the silver-domed LED bulb reflects without glare. A vast flexibility of movement is guaranteed by the supporting double joint, which allows the light source to rotate, incline and slide along the steel stem secured to the solid, circular base.

Lampshade in glossy white painted metal. Lamp body, joints and bulb holder in black painted metal. Silver-domed 7W 2700K E27 LED bulb included. Rod in chromed metal, base in iron with external finishing in polyethylene.

Concept

The designer drew inspiration from observing the lamps
used at the time by photographers to control the light in the
studio, combining the style of industrial design and generating
an object with pure geometries connected through mechanical
devices. The lampshade, composed of a metal sheet folded
and shaped into three parts that encompass the lightbulb,
reflects the light so that it is not dazzling, thanks also to the use
of a silver-domed light bulb. In addition to the fixed ceiling light,
the collection includes mobile devices with adjustable height
and direction, in floor, wall and clamped models.
