Some objects lend themselves naturally to transformation into something else. This is the case with corrugated cardboard packaging. Its elasticity and lack of rigidity mean that the original shape can easily be modelled to bring about an infinite variety of morphologies. Some of these variables need simply be “fixed” and reproduced in ceramics to produce a group of vases for flowers that all differ in shape. Ceramic vases with a finish that recalls the three-dimensional corrugated paper boxes.
