Ferns and evolutionarily more primitive plants bear reproductive spores, some of which wait for centuries before launching forth into germination.
Here surface pattern freely interprets the airborne dance of the spores as a motif. NUNO takes a springy lightweight polyester base fabric and embroiders it with a thick wool yarn for body.
