Featuring simple shapes and airy colors, this vintage Swedish Marta Maas Kilim rug expresses a great deal of motion and composition while using a relatively small number of lines and colors. The primary palette of this vintage rug consists of warm colors, with a comfortable yellow and beige background that established a sunny presence for the rest of the lines. The border features a jagged interior line that divides the shapes within, unifying the blue, red and yellow arrows within. At the core of the mid century rug, beyond the whimsical framework, is a series of diamond shapes, collected together at four primary points and intersecting at different types of opacity, creating a vibrant degree of variety.
