MATERIAL
Oak and Powder Coated Steel
Oak is a traditionally Scandinavian material with durable abilities against factors such as water and fungi alongside a high level of strength, giving it long-lasting properties fit for furniture. Steel is an alloy of iron with carbon. Powder coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more resistant to corrosion. Powder coated steel is also highly chip resistant.

Concept

Designed with Scandinavian materiality at its heart, the Plank Coat Rack brings the ideas of simplicity and functionality into the modern home. The design features hooks that can be rearranged forever while also bringing hints of color to the form, allowing for the Plank Coat Rack to evolve as time passes while holding smaller objects on its minute plateau. This product is made using FSC®-certified wood. FSC is a Chain of Custody and Forest certification system, guaranteeing that the wood comes from sustainably-managed forests and that the biodiversity is preserved within the areas from which the wood is sourced.
