Concept

MODULAR LINES OF LIGHT

Linear light as an architectonic element of design – this is what Matric offers: a comprehensive series of modular luminaires which can be combined with one another into a seamless system. The slender lines of light can echo forms in the room, mark parts of the building, emphasize sections of the space or underline the architectonic axis of the room in an expressive way. Light lines can even be led seamlessly around corners. The creative possibilities, like the system, are endless. The recent generation of LEDs enables each module to be produced to precise specifications which are homogenously illuminated along its entire length. Variants with a higher protection class enable indoor and outdoor areas be united in a uniform way. A wide selection of optical variations is available: micro prismatic screens and louvers for use in offices; spotlights create additional possibilities for accentuated lighting. Thanks to an innovative composition of material, a newly developed opal diffuser allows the perfectly homogenous resolution of the LED spots, together with the highest efficiency. This is how Matric fits into modern architecture, in not only a flexible but an economical way.
