A world exclusive and the result of over a year of study, the LEMA Air Cleaning System, thanks to the nanotechnology with a special UV lamp, produces a photochemical reaction that creates a natural active ingredient that destroys pollutants,viruses,mould and bacteria, purifying the interiors of wardrobes and removing more than 90% of unpleasant odours from clothes and shoes.
Available as an accessory, the system does not affect the aesthetic of the wardrobe because it is installed at the top of the wardrobes. All the designs in the Armadio al Centimetro programme also come in the hinged, sliding or coplanar door options.
The new device uses a patented technology called Photocatalytic Oxidation. A technique developed to purify the air in rooms where health and air quality is a top prerogative, which is widely used in hospitals, clinics and the food sector.

The first company to launch on the Italian market in the 80s a unique tailored configuration like Armadio al Centimetro, Lema today claims another first: the innovative and patented LEMA Air Cleaning System, a world exclusive, which revolutionise once again the concept of the wardrobe, making it play for the first time an active role in sanitizing clothing, footwear and any other object contained in it.

In the environments of our busy daily lives such as offices, public transport, shopping centers, restaurants, hotels and gyms, the quality of air is often poor due to inadequate recycling and bacteria, allergens, molds, carbon monoxide, particulate matter permeate our clothing generating bad odors.
The outcome of more than twelve months of researches, LEMA Air Cleaning System uses nanotechnology and a special UV lamp to generate a photochemical reaction that naturally destroys pollutants, bacteria and mold, purifying the inside of the wardrobe and eliminating more than 90% of bad odours emanating from the stored clothing and footwear. This is possible thanks to the patented Photocatalytic Oxidation technology, a technique used to purify aerospace environments.

Without affecting the aesthetics, the system, available as an optional, is installed on top of the Armadio al Centimetro wardrobes with hinged, sliding and coplanar doors.
