Refinery
Suspended lights from Lande, Designed by Ilias Ernst
Product description
An industrial lamp. With an ingenious plug.
A lamp that has been much admired. With the Refinery, designer Ernst Koning won the IF Concept Design Award 2012, one of the biggest international design prizes for young talent.
The refinery unites simplicity, surprise and practicality.
The design has a timeless, industrial look and is inspired by oil refineries.
This hanging lamp has five tubular arms that move independently. This is not only beautiful but handy if you want to direct extra light – ideal if you’re sitting at the table in a large group, working or reading. The lamp constantly looks different. And if you need power, there’s an electrical plug in one of the tubes. So no more messy cables on the floor. It’s also practical for flexi-working and as a meeting place.
