The Switch On table lamps are based on an early industrial model. The old articulated joints have been replicated in great detail, and are what make Switch On such a flexible lamp.
Purism is also reflected in the materials: the steel of the rods, pressed metal foot and nickel-plated aluminium reflector are reminiscent of a time when electricity was not yet available to everyone through power sockets. The shiny nickel plating gives this Lambert classic its modern and elegant appearance.
