For the first time a carpet in the THE MASHUP collection comes without its characteristic patchwork. Instead, you get a hand-knotted carpet with the signature feel of THE MASHUP. Although – or because –this alternative approach comes with a few surprises, it is a true triumph. The inspiration for this special floorwear comes from the hand-knotted, premium-quality carpets of the orient. The worn appearance is added carefully to each product by hand and mechanical tools. Why so much effort? Because we’re no big fans of environmentally unfriendly bleaching. And since this makes each item totally unique, of course it couldn’t be more fitting.
