With series 7750 Fjola, Kusch+Co offers an exceptionally creative reinterpretation of the vintage lounge chairs. The basic concept of the clear-cut, cubic body has been redesigned, adding a more playful touch. A snug, moulding upholstered seat shell is mounted on a stable wooden frame supported by tapered legs. Proportions and design are harmoniously balanced.

Series 7750 Fjola is a flexible system: the basic module consisting of a solitary armchair can be varied by adding additional side table tops. This modular principle enables a multitude of possible variations. The armchairs can be set up parallel next to each other or facing each other. The line-up is completed by classic benches, available as 2 or 3 seaters. The subframe is conceived to offer plenty of clearance, reinforcing the optical illusion that the body of the slender-looking seat shell hovers in the air above the floor – emphasized also by the low back. The matching table series is supported by the series’ trademark subframe with the legs melding beautifully with the square supporting frame.

The special construction of the upholstered elements offers an extremely high level of com-fort. The upholstered seat and back elements are made of multi-layered plywood entirely covered with high-quality foam. The backrest upholstery is reinforced on the inside at hip level to support the lumbar region. The soft upholstered pads are supported by a frame with elasticated lining and fixed with Velcro.
