Product description

Bed FREYA is individually customisable, as special requests can be made regarding dimensions and finishes. The model shown has a mattress size in 200 cm x 200 cm. The entry height of the bed is 33 cm. The height from floor to slatted frame is 27 cm. FREYA’s look is optimised when the mattress has a minimum height of 20 cm. The illustrated model features a steel frame in telegrey RAL 7047, but any colour in the RAL range can be requested. Measurements can be customised upon request up to a maximum length of 220 cm and a maximum width of 280 cm.

The headboard is based on the fabric “Vidar 3 by Kvadrat Raf Simons 723” by the designer of the same name, Raf Simmons, who was also responsible for the fashion houses: Jil Sander, Christian Dior and Calvin Klein as chief designer. “Vidar 3 by Kvadrat Raf Simons 723” is a hard-wearing, easy-care, soft fabric and consists proportionally of 94% wool and 6% nylon. The fabric is available in different colours.

Concept

Material mix: a bed made from steel and wool.
Simple, clear and pure: the understated FREYA bed, reduced to puristic forms, captivates with its clean shape and colour composition. Simultaneously, it harmoniously combines elegant, corrosion-resistant steel with a pleasantly soft wool headboard.
The depicted FREYA bed is constructed from a steel frame that has been powder-coated in telegrey (RAL 7047) and stabilised by a sturdy metal centre rail. The durable, robust steel used has a corner profile of 50 mm x 50 mm x 2 mm. The edges of the bed are slightly rounded. FREYA features a 125 cm upholstered headboard made from high quality, easy care wool designed by fashion designer Raf Simons. This upholstered headboard is also enclosed by a perfectly-fitted steel frame. The fabric padded headboard of the bed is made from recycled lumber. The feet of the bed are 44 cm high. The height from floor to slatted frame is 27 cm.
