Product description

Vase made of Cypress wood colored with metal oxides. Dimensions: 13x13x24,5cm - 5,1x5,1x9,6in. Color: Rust. Made in Italy. Manufacture: Lorenzo Franceschinis for HoD.

Concept

A cypress wood is turned on the lathe with soft shape and abundant thicknesses and then finished by carving its surface with horizontal lines, continuous or discontinuous, as the growth rings of the logs that mark the time passing. This new texture makes the matter vibrate and blur, with its shadows, the perception of the veinings. Anni is a wooden container for things and thoughts.
