Homogeneous light with modular LED lighting solutions from GALAXY® profiles

The individual system components can be put together with little effort, simply and quickly using a click-connect system and mounted in an object-friendly way.
Designed for wet rooms and outdoors!
This CORNER cover is supplied in lengths of 200 cm and 260 cm and is designed for use with LED flex strips with a maximum width of 13 mm. The flexband is glued to the ALU cooling strip PN33 (on the narrow upper side). The cooling strip is then inserted into the provided guide. The entire profile system is fixed to the substrate with mounting brackets or double-sided adhesive tape. The LED profile cover (opal / satin - translucency 65%) consists of shatter-proof and flame-retardant polycarbonate (flammability classification V-2). The distance between the flex strip and the cover is chosen so that even stronger LED stripes can be used without seeing the individual points of light. This results in homogeneous lighting conditions and high utilisation of the light output! The H2O end caps are made of silicone and are stuck laterally like a plug in the profile. This prevents the penetration of moisture and water. The H2O end caps with cable entry must be sealed with silicone!
Important NOTE:
Use in wet areas or outdoors is only possible in sealed form. Special protection against moisture and water is provided by silicone, which is applied to the joints for sealing purposes. Absolute watertightness is achieved with the LED profile systems by filling with Wepuran casting resin based on polyurethane resin (PUR). When selecting the LED flexband, make sure that the protection class specified by the manufacturer (at least IP65) is maintained.
Easy and quick installation
The self-adhesive LED strips are glued and routed to the wider top of the PN33. After the cooling strip has been pushed into the guide of the cover, the H2Oend caps are pressed in laterally. Finally, the flexbands can be connected to the LED technology (sequencer, transformer, etc.). The H2O-end cap with cable conduit must be sealed with silicone.
Recommendation
For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend the thorough cleaning and degreasing of the profile insides with a cleaner - see accessories. Assembly and custom-made production (OEM)
From a minimum purchase quantity onwards, the LED profiles and plastic covers from our standard range are custom-assembled or custom-made to customer-specific length specifications up to max. 6 m total length per LED profile system.
