The high art of calligraphy still flows into the work of young Iranian artists today. Woven as a clip-cord, the Persian letters „H“ and „T“ are transformed into a lively design on the semi-transparent, double width curtain fabric AFSUN. They not only stand for Hadi Tehrani‘s initials, but also for چیه „Heetch“ and مامت „Tamam“ (the essence of being complete and to being nothing),-thus also paying homage to the spiritual-mystical doctrine of Sufism, which has its origins in Iran. AFSUN is available in four elegant colour variations and, thanks to its flame-retardant properties, is also suitable for use in commercial buildings.
