Concept

The Luco series features a bench, a chair and a chaise-longue that stand out for the delicate design of their wood elements and subtle integration with the supporting structure, as well as the fact that they can be installed in spaces midway between indoor and outdoor areas, due to their simplicity and lightness.

In the words of the author: “I am aware of my predilection for Poul Kjaerholm’s PK 22 chair (1955): it is perfect as it is, but of all its qualities, the one I admire most is the clarity in establishing the relationship between the structure and seat. Without a doubt, that is the starting point of the Luco series, which conveys the idea of a dense forest of trees”.

The combination of the height and inclination of the seat, along with the height of the back and arm rests make the Luco bench and chair extremely comfortable.

The structure of the three elements is formed by hardened chrome-plated steel with a textured silver baked paint finish, while the surfaces of the backs, seats and armrests are made of autoclaved Nordic pine. Self-stabilising and installed directly on the paving or anchored to it with 4 M8 x 100 mm screws fastened with resin.
