Vox is an upholstery that employs the Climatex® DualcycleTM construction, a weave structure that brings together both natural and synthetic materials in a manner that allows for easy disassembly. The natural layer (composed of wool and Lenzing rayon) can easily be separated from the synthetic Cradura® layer using a simple industrial process that has been established worldwide. Once separated, the synthetic fibers can be recycled while the natural fibers are able to biodegrade. Climatex® DualcycleTM has been awarded Cradle to Cradle Silver and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certifications, and has won an IF Product Design award (2013) as well as the Green Good Design Award (2013), Materialica Design + Technology Silver Award (2012) and Good Design Award (2012).
