Product description

The daybed DS-80 has established itself as a timeless de Sede classic ever since it was launched in 1969: a narrow mattress, exquisitely finished, rests on a wooden frame made of filigree wood slats. The nearly invisible frame lends the model a very exclusive character.

Now weatherproof, this classic presents itself as a semi-outdoor product. Made of outdoor foam, the mattress is covered in the outdoor-tested fabrics CIRRUS or CUMULUS. Outdoor-resistant Sipo wood is used to craft the frame.

As a special feature, the DS-80 semi-outdoor model is available not only as a daybed but also as a sofa with backrest and armrest.
The latter features a higher backrest design to permit the best possible seating comfort à la de Sede.

The daybed DS-80 has established itself as a timeless classic by de Sede ever since it was launched in 1969: to this day, the model is a paradigm of high-class leather manufacture and popular all over the world.

To be honest, we’re not quite sure which we like better: the newly produced models or the 50-year-old sculptures that have acquired a patina of their own. A narrow, high-quality mattress lies atop a frame made of filigree wood slats – the patchwork is sustainably made of just a single hide.
