The influence of nature is evident in Stone’s lines: a single body that forms backrest, seat and armrests and is as solid and welcoming as only the elements of nature can be. “I have always been inspired by the impromptu seats in nature that I discovered during my long walks," says Fabrice Berrux, who designed the seat. “Sometimes it’s a tree trunk, others simply a smooth rock. This is exactly the spirit I embraced when I came up with the design of the Stone chair.”
Available with leather, fabric or eco-leather upholstery, the Stone modern shell chair comes with three bases, so different from one another that they can transform the overall look of the chair: the metal base, made with metal rods, gives Stone a contemporary and energetic look, or the four legs or the swivel base versions in three different solid ash wood finishes provide a visually warm and welcoming chair.
