Dining tables from Bonaldo, Designed by Gino Carollo

Product description

The Art table is the expression of a clear and rational design intuition, like the geometric shape which inspired designer Gino Carollo. A metal trapezium develops diagonally under the table top, allowing minimum obstruction and optimising the space. To ensure stability, the trapezium is supplemented with two legs which can be customised with inserts in the same finish as the table top.
The base of the Art table is in metal; the table top - rectangular, in the fixed or extending version - is available in wood, glass or ceramic.
Base: metal in matt painted, burnished or copper bronze finishes
Table top: various wood finishes, glass or ceramic
Table top dimensions:
Fixed: 160x90 cm; 180x90 cm; 200x100 cm; 240x120 cm; 250x100 cm; 300x108 cm; 300x120 cm
Extending: 160/240x90 cm; 180/260x90 cm; 200/300x100 cm

Concept

The base of Art (both table and console) is its most distinguishing feature: it is made of a metal trapezium that runs diagonally under the table top, allowing minimum obstruction and optimising the space.
Overall, the load-bearing structure designed in this way stands out for its high levels of dynamism, solidity and sculptural impact. The top is firmly supported but the final effect is one of great lightness. The base of Art is in painted metal of various colours; the top in the fixed (rectangular, round or rectangular with rounded corners) or leaf version of the Art table is available in different materials: this versatility makes it equally suitable for dining room or study. The Art table takes on new life in its version with a wooden base ("Art Wood").
