Many different objects crowd a desk: Mobile phone, drums, glasses… Therefore, I wanted to develop a useful object which provides space to different objects. From this originated the idea of the book tray which offers several surfaces, one for books and magazines, one for objects and the place under the tray serves to stow away battery chargers or cables. One can adjust both metal walls, according to the book quantity which one wants to accommodate there. Warm wood and cool metal are the materials for this amazingly lightweight object.
