Product description

The present lot and the following three lots were purchased in 1972 for an Umbrian villa from the Knoll Showroom in Milan. Designed by Gae Aulenti, the Milan Showroom was part of an early 1970s wave of new exhibition spaces for Knoll that reflected their European merger with Gavina. The works by Italian designers and architects featured in the Milan showroom were rarely available outside of Italy.

Molded black ABS plastic frame with leather upholstery comprising one sofa, two settees and two telescoping tables with Gavina foil label (5) sofa: 251/2 x 911/2 x 363/8 in. (64.7 x 232.4 x 92.4 cm) settees: 253/4 x 511/4 x 37 in. (65.4 x 130.3 x 94 cm) telescoping tables: 20 x 36 x 35 in. (50.7 x 91.4 x 88.9 cm)
