Milan Design Week: Live Talks at the DAAily bar

Serving food, coffee and stronger drinks, the DAAily bar at Milan Design Week – open 7 to 10 June from 2pm to 9pm – will be a place for visitors to meet up with old friends and make new ones, in a choice of four separate, specially designed zones with new products presented by some of the week’s speakers.

Stefan Diez has created a relaxing lounge area, using his new collections Mudra by Brunner and Plusminus by Vibia; Patricia Urquiola has put together the DAAily bar’s central bar area with her latest collection, Nuez by Andreu World; and there’s even space to enjoy the hopefully generous Italian sunshine in an outdoor terrace created by Sebastian Herkner, featuring the Caribe collection by ames.

Attendees in search of industry insights won’t have long to catch either the sun or their breath, however, as the DAAily bar’s Live Talk series of discussions with top international designers and creative talents starts at 3pm each day.

Taking place every hour, on the hour, on a Barber Osgerby-designed stage featuring their new Alpina chair by Magis, attentive listeners will hear DAAily platforms' respective Editors-in-Chief of Designboom (Birgit Lohmann), Architonic (Simon Keane-Cowell) and ArchDaily (David Basulto) chew the fat with the cream of the architecture and design disciplines.
