Over 1,300 of Toronto’s established and emerging trade professionals attended the first North American edition of the highly-successful global innovation and design event, ARCHITECT@WORK, representing the best in architectural design and innovation.

Held at the Enercare Centre in Toronto, the exclusive event focused on innovation showcasing the industry’s most exciting new products, materials and applications from 76 exhibitors across Europe and North America. Organized and marketed by Xpo Canada Ltd., with headquarters in Belgium, Europe, the event is unique to the traditional trade show model in that the layout is made up of uniform turnkey booths featuring hundreds of manufacturers’ innovations.

Featured exhibitors and products were first selected by a national judging panel from the architecture and design community. From sustainable products and intelligent lighting solutions to breakthroughs in technologies, the innovative products showcased at ARCHITECT@WORK aim to shape trends in the Canadian design industry for the year ahead.

The event also included short and informative seminars by Azure, IDC and TSA. Featured on the show floor, Archello showcased its ‘How It’s Made’ exhibit, art installations by Astley Gilbert and a 40 metre-long project wall by world-architects.com were also popular highlights.
