Aesthetics in the bathroom

In the past, bathrooms were mostly used functionally. More recently, however, the image of this interior space has been changing. The bathroom is becoming an integral and important part of the house, similar to the kitchen. These new oases offer wellness, relaxation and time for oneself, and have become very stylish. Surfaces, accessories and furniture offer a range of styles that leave nothing to be desired. To this end, Refin offers selected tile decors that give each bathroom a unique appearance
Due to the bathroom’s image change, the various surfaces, such as the floor tiles, are now subject to additional requirements. Accordingly, they now not only need to be functional and hygienic, but also have special technical and aesthetic properties. Besides offering comfort, tiles should primarily be resistant to moisture and chemical cleaners. Stoneware is particularly suitable due to its extremely low porosity. It easily meets a large number of requirements, including with respect to abrasion, stains, wear and chemical agents. And thanks to the latest technology, stoneware now also offers a wide range of possibilities for realising an individual style and look in the bathroom. Modern tile designs are heavily influenced by current surface trends. They are mostly manufactured with a contemporary, urban used look that is special and reminiscent of materials such as cement, plaster, resin and oxidized metals, and this in turn lends apartments an urban character. Wood looks create a warm, natural and welcoming atmosphere. Refin offers both classic wood decors, as well as more modern Scandinavian-style designs. Different sizes and colours offer a wealth of possibilities for individual bathroom design. A fine relief also ensures a realistic feel without impairing the tile’s functionality.
The true classic remains, however, natural stone, with its timeless and elegant appearance. The collections with their structural effects, fossil inclusions and original stone and marble colours represent solutions for both modern and traditional homes.
