Particularly during the hot periods of the year, there is a risk that the air will become too dry if not constantly ventilated. If, however, the air humidity in a living or working area drops below the medically recommended value of approx. 55%, the risk of catching a cold increases. Dry heating air leads to dry mucous membranes and weakens the immune system. Bacteria, viruses and pollen have an easy time. Moreover, dry air harms the skin, leads to fatigue and thereby reduces work performance. But pets, plants, wooden furniture and wooden floors suffer from the dryness as well.
The indoor climate can be noticeably improved at home or at work with water features from art aqua. According to the principle of “cold evaporation”, the air is humidified as it passes over the surface of the features and is simultaneously cleansed of dust and other particles. As a result, plants can also absorb moisture and thereby thrive and produce important oxygen for the rooms. Through special room sails by artist Antje Sträter, rooms are also brought into balance acoustically, optically (protective effect), as well as atmospherically.
The mobile water features from art aqua designed by artists are available as, e.g., spheres, columns or wall images. In addition to their practical function, the water features also appeal to the aesthetic and emotional senses. Beginning with water, which connects everything, light, aroma, wind, art and sound are transformed into living objects that lend every room a “human” design.
Artists such as Franz Josef Maria Wittekind and Martin Reinhardt, together with art aqua, put the dream of water features within reach for many people.
In the features, the water enters a spiritual dialogue with the observer. Movement, dynamics and vitality are key criteria in the holistic concepts, which are also presented at international trade fairs, exhibits and competitions.
