Erich Bernard, Daniela Walten and Johann Moser are working together since 1998. In 2004 they founded “BWM Architekten und Partner”, a studio for architecture, planning and design based in Vienna. Markus Kaplan became junior partner in 2008.
BWM work in the following three fields: shop design/corporate architecture, exhibition and museum planning as well as architecture within the urban context. Currently the team working for BWM consists of 35 people from the fields of architecture, sculpture, landscape planning, industrial design and marketing. Their various educational backgrounds, views and interests enable them to operate within a wide range of tasks.
BWM are inspired by architecture that remains up-to-date and significant beyond the past. Their aim is to find the best answer possible: individual, precise and circumspect. They are involved with all aspects of a project – from the initial idea to implementation.
