Casita 662 by Kvadrat

Mi Casa and Casita are two graceful curtains designed by Cristian Zuzunaga. Both combine glossy melange yarns and matte unicoloured yarns in a minimalistic panama binding. While they share these characteristics – and complement each other – they express colours in a distinctively individual way.

While Mi Casa is constructed with two differently coloured yarns, Casita is woven with three contrasting colours: two colours in the weft and one colour in the warp. When seen from close up, Mi Casa and Casita reveal a play of tiny squares. The way these emerge from the surface depends on the colourway in question: some have a pronounced graphic look, others seem to dissolve into the background and have a melange expression.

Mi Casa and Casita come in a range of natural colours which incorporate hints of bolder notes, gentle greens and intense blues. As Mi Casa and Casita are made of flame retardant Trevira CS, they are well-suited to contract environments.
