The minimum nominal distance between axes is 58cm. This distance is achieved not by using wider arms or extensions between units, but rather by increasing the dimensions of the seat and backrest. As a result, the actual width of the backrest is 56cm, a size that ensures a high level of comfort.
The seat and backrest are composed of two blocks of moulded polyurethane foam that incorporate an internal metal structure. The upholstery is joined to the foam using the Integral Form system, without seams or stitching. The Integral Form system guarantees accurate replacements if they are needed.
A TS System fire barrier can be incorporated between the foam and upholstery on both the seat and the backrest in order to prevent fire from reaching the foam, and to delay the emission of toxic gases and the spreading of flames.
The backrest padding is anatomically contoured, incorporating vertical and horizontal grooves. The seat padding has a smooth anatomical form and is free of grooves of any type in order to prevent the accumulation of dirt. The seat and backrest are protected by fully washable polypropylene shells which protect the rear upholstery.
The seat is always open.
Each chair is mounted on a central pedestal and supported by an internal bridge connecting the different seats and ensuring rigid and stable rows. The pedestals are made of tubular steel finished in polyester paint. The chairs are fixed to the floor surface using expansion plugs. The seat adapts to the specific slope of the room through the base of the pedestal. Rows are formed by means of interconnected backrests ensuring rigid and stable row formation, reinforcing the attachment to the floor.
The arms are made of semi-rigid polyurethane foam with an internal metal structure. They are compact in form and consist of a single piece with a built-in cupholder. Optionally, the upper rear face of the backrest can incorporate an upholstered section and the seat can be fully upholstered.
The backrest can also be made with HR. This type of backrest features a headrest that is integrated into the backrest. In other words, it is not an add-on, but is actually an integral part of the backrest. This headrest system has a clear ergonomic advantage, as it is a natural extension of the backrest, not a separate item that is added on to it.
