Vasily is a wall light system made up of folded metal sheets. The shape takes on various different aspects and interpretations according to the angle from which you observe it: a delicate and abstract origami, a three-dimensional interplay and a synthesis of unfolded wings.
Vasily features simple yet refined design, a special elegance that naturally fits modern, rigorous and unconventional environments. It can be used singularly or in multiple compositions in homes and contract spaces.
In its steel finish the lamp assumes a martial nature with rigorous preciousness, but in its white finish it takes on a milder, more gentle character that is less intense but no less elegant.
The key to interpreting its name lies in the first name (in the literal US translation) of the Russian painter Kandinsky, regarded as the first abstract artist, who favoured ‘hard’ lines and compositions where the triangle (or triangles) often appeared on the canvas.
