Cell

The honeycomb based on hexagon was an inspiration for us to design this developed universal system of seats for contract market. Thanks to the computer simulations the seats made out of flexible plywood have optimal ergonomic shapes and angles. The metal base allows cell to stack. The whole collection consists of chairs, lounge chairs, bar stools and tables. The seats and the back rests can be upholstered. During the production process of upholstered cell we applied technology of vacuum forming - “in mold”. The technology is based on binding the polyurethane foam with specially prepared fabric in vacuum form. This kind of method is used in car industry also in the production of sport equipment, in furniture industry it is innovation.
