The standalone construction is also beautifully designed, with a perfect eye for detail.
The Bridge® technology is the result of ongoing technological innovation and extensive scientific studies. Following the shape of the human spine, we developed a patented spring suspension technology that fully automatically, individually and optimally adjusts to any requirement of the body and any sleeping position – both lengthwise and widthwise. Suitable for any body shape, in any position, without the need to manually adjust the spring suspension.
The principle: The Bridge® technology consists of freely moving, self-regulating spring modules that bind together individual slats in the form of a chain. This chain responds automatically and precisely to body pressure, matching movements made during sleep with pinpoint accuracy from head to toe. This guarantees an ergonomically correct support and taking over the load of the body’s weight: Sensitive body parts, including the shoulders, are borne by the greatest range of the springs and a maximum sinking depth, while other parts like the spine are optimally supported. Whether you prefer lying on your side, back or front, the support surface matches the complete range of sleep movements and will not pitch with loading on one side. The result: The body is counterbalanced in every position, independent of body size, weight and position of the sleeping person. The result is an ergonomically perfect design and a feeling of weightlessness.
