Get inspired with an architecture and design trip to Copenhagen. This June, you can explore the Danish capital accompanied by a MARK magazine editor to enjoy exclusive access to the latest projects of note in the city.

For the first time ever, design media brand Frame is organizing an architecture and design trip from 8 to 12 June 2017. Over the course of five days, Mark editor David Keuning will accompany you to all the latest inspirational projects in the Danish capital.

‘Copenhagen is a rapidly expanding European capital with a lot of interesting, recently constructed buildings,’ says Keuning. ‘The packed itinerary includes architectural highlights such as UN City by 3xN, Maersk Bygningen by C.F. Møller and the Axeltorv offices by Lundgaard & Tranberg, as well as exclusive access to the work-in-progress sites of the Amager Bakke incinerator plant by BIG, the Danish Architecture Centre Bryghus by OMA and the Tingbjerg Library by COBE.’

‘Travellers can also opt for additional tours to the mid-20th-century architecture highlights in Klampenborg and Louisiana, or the new projects in Ørestad,’ adds Keuning.

The tour will be led by guides including Dominique Pieters, veteran international architectural tour guide and trained architect, author and lecturer; Sebastiaan Veldhuisen, experienced travel guide and practicing architect, advisor and lecturer; and Evert Crols, one of the founding partners of Belgian firm B Architecten. These tour-guides-slash-industry-experts will be joined by project architects, with Keuning offering supplementary insights.

Book now to enjoy an unforgettable 5D4N experience. The €2250 travel fee is inclusive of:
 five-day tour led by expert guides and accompanied by a Mark editor
 four nights in the Wake-Up Hotel Borgergade designed by Kim Utzon
 all meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, with drinks provided
 entrance fees to sites where applicable
 transportation between venues
 group travel insurance

Discounts are also available for subscribers to the Mark and/or Frame magazines, or if guests opt for double-room occupancy.

Travellers are responsible for their own transportation arrangements to Copenhagen, although it is possible to book flight tickets through the organizers and enjoy a group discount for parties of 10 people and above.

‘On this trip, we’ll give travellers the first look at many never-seen-before buildings and projects,’ says Keuning. ‘It’s an exciting opportunity to share the insiders’ perspective that we offer our readers, now face-to-face.’
