Join us at ETH Zurich on 12–13 October for Future Cities: Through Science. By Design. In Place. Over Time. A conference to explore visionary urban planning solutions.

Rapid urbanisation is shaping cities, putting pressure on their quality of life and posing significant challenges. Traditional planning models are reaching their limits as they fail to adequately capture complex interrelationships and influencing factors. FCL Global, a collaboration between ETH Zurich and universities in Singapore (NUS, NTU, SUTD), adopts a transdisciplinary approach that links design, technology, science and governance. Based on data and empirical findings, it provides a foundation for resilient urban development and promotes collaboration between different interest groups.

The conference brings together renowned experts from architecture, urban planning, politics, and society, including personalities such as Momoyo Kaijima, Hugh Lim, Pierre de Meuron, Norbert Niederkofler, Susan Parnell, Enrique Peñalosa, and Peter Sloterdijk. FCL Global researchers will also present the current state of the research programme.
