20 years ago, Ben van Berkel won the competition with the UN Studio, Amsterdam, for reconstruction of the central station of Arnhem. Inspired by the hilly landscape around The Dutch city, the architects developed a building based on the principle of the Klein bottle, in which the inside and outside imperceptibly merge into one another. The façades resulting from the design are object solutions as they are only with steel profiles can be realized.
