Coloplast Fair Stand

Designing a captivating fair stand is always challenging – an ideal stand should be open and inviting with a dynamic room in room presence.

Danish Coloplast, a healthcare company developing medical products and services, wanted to create such a stand for the 2018 EWMA expo in Krakow, Poland. The company envisioned a coherent universe, which visitors could enter, with enough space for demonstrating products, showing digital presentations, and holding meetings. The modular GRID system was an obvious solution and chosen for both the exhibition system and the interior furniture.

Stand designer Annette Meyer, Coloplast and GRID collaborated to function hundreds of GRID modules into a magnificent cubic installation creating a dynamic and dedicated space for Coloplast within the huge trade fair hall. More GRID modules and components were used to fashion elegant interior such as tables, benches and display units. The result was a compelling white structure with visually pleasing lines and interconnectivity. Annette Meyer and Coloplast designed seats in Coloplast’s corporate colour for use as benches and poufs to increase brand identity. Special birch plywood finishes were also customised for the design. Coloplast’s positioning within the medical industry demands a high level of professionalism and functionality at fair stands – a brief GRID was able to meet due to the adaptability of the system and its minimalist look. Digital screens, magazine shelves and display boxes were seamlessly integrated into the structure to provide stand visitors with a high level of product information.

With its versatile design, the GRID system is an expert choice for an exhibition system. The GRID modules are the building blocks of the system and are available in standard colours of black or white. These elegant cubic modules can be assembled into many shapes, sizes and functions. Whether an installation, display unit or interior furniture is needed – it can be formed using the GRID system. GRID components such as plant boxes, magazine shelves, cupboards, seats or cork boards can be incorporated to create the perfect visual expression and ultimate functionality.
