Shanghai Columbia Circle TSUTAYA BOOKS

CCC Group, who operates the most well-known bookstores in Japan, had decided to expand their business and opened up their second shop in China as “TSUTAYA BOOKS” in one of the most prosperous cities in the world - Shanghai. Officially opened up to public on December 24, 2020, the two-story building has not only the bookstore but also a bar, a café, and a dining area.

The furniture used in the area was designed by Hiroshi Yoneya from studio TONERICO, and manufactured by the leading Japanese furniture company CondeHouse. The collaboration has turned the traditional building into a beautiful and modern bookstore complex. We hope you come and enjoy books, coffee, and meal in our chairs in a great atmosphere.
